Produced by Toei Animation,World Triggeris a popular Japanese anime based on a manga written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara. The studio premiered the first season of the anime adaptation back in 2014.
Season 1 featured a total of 74 episodes, and it successfully grabbed the attention of millions of worldwide viewers. So, it’s no wonder that Toei Animation renewed the series for two more seasons.
What’s The Plot of World Trigger?
World Triggerfollows the events of Mikado City after a mysterious gate appears right outside the city. Suddenly, several monsters or “Neighbors” start emerging from the gate, overwhelming the entire human population.
Humans try their best to defend themselves against these monsters, but sadly, regular firearms turn ineffective against the enemy. However, an organization called Defense Agency, or “Border,” appears and defends everyone by attacking “Neighbors.” Apparently, this organization uses the enemy’s technology to use their inner energy, called ‘Trion,’ as weapons.
When Does World Trigger Season 3 Episode 1 Come Out?

World TriggerSeason 3 is scheduled to premiere with the release of Episode 1 on Saturday, October 9th, 2021, or Sunday, October 10th, depending on your region.
After the first episode’s broadcast in Japan, the episode will be available for international fans onCrunchyroll. If it’s a simulcast release, the streaming platform will get episode 1 on October 9th for premium users. On the other hand, free users will have to wait until next week to watch the episode.

When writing this post,World TriggerSeason 3 is confirmed to premiere in Japan at 1:30 AM on October 10th, 2021. However, because of the time difference, the release date for several international viewers would be October 9th.
