When does The Alters come out?
The Alters will be releasedsometime in 2024, though a specific date has yet to be announced. Considering the date announcement came about via Xbox Partner Preview in March 2024, we theorize that it may be released late within the year. Players can find The Alters on Xbox consoles and PC via Steam.
What is The Alters about?
The Alters is anaction-adventure, survival, and base-buildinggame where you play as a man who can clone himself to help with his goals. Jan Dolski, the protagonist, now lives on a remote planet (after crashing his ship) that is under constant threat of a sun quickly rising in close proximity to his newly found haven. Help him keep his base running (and moving) with the help of cloned versions of Jan who will need as much tending to as the base itself.

How does Survival work in The Alters?
One of the most underrated aspect of gameplay in The Alters is the survival. You’re on a constantly moving base that is escaping the dangerous solar rays that threaten the protagonist. You must complete amyriad of tasks and raise skillsto ensure your survival, including:
You’ll be able to complete these tasks with an individual alter for each job needed. Alters are created via a system of looking into Jan’s past, empowered by a special mineral only found on this new planet. You must manage theunique desires, motivations, and ambitionsof each occurring alter.
