Since Rock‑Out Rags comes already equipped, it saves you fossil expenses at the start. You can rely on it during tutorial sections or as a fallback when upgrading isn’t possible.

The Plum Forest Uniform gives the same transformation time bonus as Canyon gear, but as an Ostrich instead of Kong. This outfit is a great pick for gliding. The extra transformation time lets you clear long gaps or climb vertical paths without getting cut off halfway.
You’ll need 5 Beaver fossils to unlock it, which can be found in the Forest layer. These fossils show up near log bridges, mossy cliffs and other earthy spots. Once you’ve got them, hit the Forest Style Shop and claim your new Plum Forest Uniform.
7Taffy Freezer Jacket
40% Zebra Time Boost
Taffy Freezer Jacket gives you +40% longer Bananza time, just like Canyon and Forest outfits, but it’s designed for running fast, especially on water. With more time in your transformation, you’ll glide over ice with control, outrun slippery hazards, and reach far-off switches without running out of energy. It’s perfect for puzzle runs in cold areas that rely on speed and timing.
To get the Taffy Freezer Jacket, you need 5 Sea Lily fossils, which appear in frozen caves and snowy cliffs. Bring them to the Freezer Layer Style Shop and grab the jacket.

This outfit gives you more time when using Snake Bananza. If you’re trying to jump high or slow down time, this is one of the best outfits to wear. You won’t feel rushed or forced to retry over and over. That’s what makes this outfit a favorite for tricky levels.
Visit the Radiance Layer Style Shop to get the Purple Radiance Outfit. It costs 5 Banana Bird fossils, making it cheaper than the Rattle Radiance Outfit, which does the same thing.
4Cyan Lagoon Vest
Best Outfit for Gem Hunting
If you enjoy digging for rare fossils and hidden gems, the Cyan Lagoon Vest should be on your radar. When your Kong transforms, his sonar pulses help you find collectibles. With this vest, those pulses travel farther. That means you can scan more of the ground with every ping, spotting hidden Banandium, fossils, or treasure blocks much faster than normal.
You can get this outfit in the Lagoon Layer Style Shop, but you’ll need 5 Ammonite fossils to unlock it. Cyan Lagoon Vest works even better when combined with outfits that stretch transformation time. Pair it with something like Lady’s Dress or Canyon Getup, and you’ll not only ping farther but stay transformed long enough to make use of what you find.
3Neon Feast Apparel
Slowly Heals You During Transformation
When Donkey Kong changes into one of his Bananza forms, Pauline is still around, and she can take damage from fire, poison, and other hazards. With the Neon Feast Apparel, she starts to heal on her own during those Bananza moments.
It’s great for tough levels where healing items are hard to find. You can jump into Elephant or Zebra Bananza, and while you’re dashing around, Pauline is slowly recovering health in the background.Boss fightsand long levels with traps become much easier with this on. You don’t have to rely only on apples or hearts to heal. To claim this outfit, first buy the Prime Feast Apparel in the Feast Layer Style Shop using Old Tire fossils. Once you have that, Neon Feast becomes available. You don’t need a ton of fossils, but upgrading it helps. The more you upgrade, the faster the healing.

If you like switching between Elephant, Zebra, Snake, and Ostrich often, the Arcade Dress outfit is for you. At its lowest, it gives 20% extra transformation time. If you level it up fully, you get a 60% time boost across the board. That means more dashing, more smashing, more slithering, and more gliding.
To get the Arcade Dress, you have to first buy the Lady’s Dress from the Planet Core Style Shop. After that, the Arcade Dress becomes available. You’ll need 8-Bit Barrel fossils to purchase them. Once you unlock it, upgrades to the base dress boost the Arcade version too.
