Featuring characters Bahamut, the king that has ruled over dragonkind and The Warriors of Light, whose goal is to fight to restore the crystals (because it wouldn’t be Final Fantasy without some crystals somewhere).

New Classes

Included in this DLC is the new job Summoner, who can summon Bahamut into battle. While Bahamut is out on the battlefield, both the summoner’s MP and max MP continually decrease. On the plus side, the summoner can actually control Bahamut, gaining some mighty abilities.

Another new job is the Evoker. Evokers can use their job action to evoke or to summon a spirit in battle for backup. Spirits will auto-attack enemies and harness some special abilities that can be dealt on command. For example shackle can seal the enemy’s movement.

PC

Last the Pilgrims use an assault hook to grab enemies from afar. Combo a leap and strike an enemy or draw them in, in one fell swoop.

New Weapon

Another new addition in this expansion is the Staff. Staves have a good range of area that can be adjusted by extending the weapon. A thrust attack will close the distance between the foe and you, making for some advantageous moves.

Customisation Customisation Customisation

New mechanics are being added to the game in the form of Accessories which grant abilities unique to their category. Some accessories will allow the use of specific abilities such as that belonging to an enemy.

Changing classes can be made through the job tree screen. You will be able to empower specific job actions in different ways by using evocation and ultima. Throw in rat tail on the class screen to learn new abilities.

PlayStation

Bringing even more chaos into the mix, Chaos Equipment can be created by finding weapons on “Hard” or higher difficulties. Imbuing them with special abilities called chaos will grant significant upgrades regarding damage against certain enemies.
