Months afterSamsungandLGunveiled their 2025 TV lineupsat CES, Sony is finally joining the action.
Sonyhas introducedits 2025 Bravia TV lineup, which features three brand-new models: the QD-OLED Bravia 8 II, the mini-LED Bravia 5, and an entry-level model, the LED Bravia 2 II.

TheBravia 8 IIis Sony’s new flagship TV and the successor to the A95L. Sony claims it is its “brightest OLED TV ever.” The Bravia 8 II is equipped with Sony’s XR Processor and XR Triluminos Max technology, which “enhances the display of natural colors.” Additionally, the TV’s XR Contrast Booster improves contrast by accurately controlling light to showcase the appropriate level of depth and detail. A release date and price have not yet been revealed, but the Bravia 8 II will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch screen sizes.

Sony is offering a new mini-LED and LED model
The Bravia 2 II looks to be an impressive entry-level TV
The mini-LEDBravia 5is Sony’s new entry-level mini-LED TV model, and will be available in five different screen sizes, ranging from 55-inches to 98-inches. In apress release, Sony states that the Bravia 5 incorporates many “state-of-the-art technologies and features of last year’s most advanced models into a more affordable, yet compelling audiovisual package.” The Bravia 5 utilizes an XR processor and Sony’s Backlight Master Drive technology to enhance contrast and minimize digital noise.
Finally, that brings us to theBravia 2 II, which is the company’s new entry-level LED TV. However, despite its affordability, it includes features typically found in higher-end models, such as Dolby Atmos and DTS:X support, which deliver a more immersive audio experience. The Bravia 2 II is available in various sizes, ranging from 43 to 75-inches. Sony has not yet disclosed the pricing or availability of the Bravia 2 II or the Bravia 5, but the details are expected to be available later this spring.

It’s important to note that all of Sony’s Bravia TV models are powered byGoogle TV, enabling users to access the latest streaming services and smart home technologies. Sony will continue to offer some of its older TVs in this year’s lineup, including the Bravia 8, the Bravia 9, the Sony A95L, as well as the Bravia 5 and Bravia 3 TVs.
