Last June, months beforeBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicehit theaters, rumors surfaced that Warner Bros. was so impressed withBen Affleck’s work as Batman, that they wanted him to star in and direct anUntitled Batman Reboot. While the project hasn’t been officially confirmed by Warner Bros., or given a release date yet, the actor-filmmaker’s agent recently confirmed that he has already written thescriptfor this untitled movie, which he was reportedly developing with DC’sGeoff Johns. But it seems the story may not be fully hashed out yet. During an interview withJoe.ie,Batman v Superman: Dawn of JusticedirectorZack Snyderrevealed that he’s still trying to convinceBen Affleckto make this project, but it may not happen for quite some time.

“I keep working on him, he’s always said he’s a one movie at a time guy. He’s finishing editing his film,Live by Nightand then he comes toJustice Leagueand then after that, I think he’s going to try and develop the story. Then we’ll see if he likes it. I think that’s (Ben Affleck directing) kind of the prerequisite, hopefully, for him doing [the film].”
