With just a month to go until the release of theRed Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar Games have not released many details since they showed some of thegameplay in their last trailer.
Rockstar now release some more info on the setting of the western themedaction-RPG. Firstly they introduce Valentine, a rough-neck town situated in the Heartlands of New Hanover. A town that revolves around the livestock auctions, meaning it’s inhabitants are ranchers, traders, cowboys and prostitutes. The other town they introduce is Annesburg, found in Roanoke Ridge in New Hanover. A town that makes it’s living from mining, where the conditions for workers are less than ideal and the pay is worse. A place truly fitting to the wild west and a spot that will lead players into some conflicts.

Another town to be showcased is the Saint Denis, a larger city than the aforementioned, Bayou NWA of the swamp cover Lemoyne. If you’re looking for a trading spot this would be the place. Here you will find socialites, businessmen, sailors and some unsavoury characters such as thieves and beggars. Another town within Lemoyne is Rhodes, an average town by appearance but has a seedy underbelly full of corruption and ongoing feud between plantation families. Lemoyne is also home to Lagras, a small area which can be found in the swamps.
One of the most scenic locations is Mount Hagen, a snow covered town that has a main route through the western mountains. Strawberry town is an emerging place that hosts the Big Valley of West Elizabeth, with a mayor that’s more interested in attracting tourism than pleasing the inhabitants of Strawberry.
