Pokemon GO Carnival of Love 2024 Event Details
If you’re anything like Ben Starr and ‘just love love,’ you’ll want to get involved in this two-day Pokemon GO event, which showcases the most romantic Pokemon – from heart trims to flowers and everything in between. You’ll feel the love during the Carnival of Love event.
Event Date and Time
The Pokemon GO Carnival of Love 2024 event will begin onTuesday,February 13,2024, at10:00 a.m.and run toThursday,February 15,2024, at8:00 p.m.local time.
Wild Pokemon Encounters
The following Pokemon will appear in the wild during the event period.
During the Carnival of Love event, you will be able to encounter Shiny Oricorio for the first time! Try to find as many Oricorio possible for your best chance at obtaining its shiny form.
Field Research Task Encounters
The following Pokemon can be encountered by completing event-specific Field Research Tasks that can be obtained by spinning PokeStops during the event.
Furfrou Trim Style
During the Carnival of Love 2024 event in Pokemon GO, if you own aNatural Form Furfrou, you can transform it into an adorableHeart Trim Furfrou. To do this, follow the below steps:
Each style change will cost 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
Event Bonuses
The following Event Bonuses will be active during the Carnival of Love 2024 event in Pokemon GO.
Paid Timed Research
The Carnival of Love 2024 Paid Time Research will cost $1 USD or the equivalent in local currency. For purchasing the ticket, you will receive the following:

Collection Challenge
Whilst the Pokemon to collect during the Carnival of Love 2024 Collection Challenge are yet to be announced, the rewards have been, and it’s worth participating.
Carnival of Love New Avatar Item
There is a new pose that will be for purchase once the event begins and permanently after. This item, Luvdisc Tambourine Pose is absolutely adorable, and you bet that I will be purchasing it for myself.
PokeStop Showcases
As per, trainers will be able to enter their Pokemon into PokeStop Showcases will be held at various PokeStops during the event period. However, this showcase is a little different. Trainers will enter their biggest Buddy Pokemon, which is a Great Buddy or higher.
Bonus for Trainers in Brazil
As a nod to and a way to further celebrate the Brazilian Carnaval, Niantic has implemented a double XP bonus for all Pokemon caught in Brazil during the event period.
