Her green Versace jungle dress broke records on the internet as the former CEO and executive chairman of Google, Eric Schmidt, penned a piece in 2015 onProject Syndicate, revealing how they inspired to create Google Images,

“People wanted more than just text. This first became apparent after the 2000 Grammy Awards, where Jennifer Lopez wore a green dress that, well, caught the world’s attention. At the time, it was the most popular search query we had ever seen. But we had no surefire way of getting users exactly what they wanted: J­Lo wearing that dress. Google Image Search was born.”

In an interview withPlayboy magazine, Ben Affleck’s 2014 American psychological thrillerGone Girlmovie director David Fincher revealed how he cast him in the movie after searching his images in which he was smiling. As perVanity Fair,Fincher told the outlet,

“You cast movies based on critical scenes. In Gone Girl, there’s a smile the guy has to give when the local press asks him to stand next to a poster of his missing wife. I flipped through Google Images and found about 50 shots of Affleck giving that kind of smile in public situations. You look at them and know he’s trying to make people comfortable in the moment, but by doing that, he’s making himself vulnerable to people having other perceptions about him.”
