Palworldwas a huge success earlier this year on PC and Xbox systems, and now a PS5 release seems likely after a Saturday post by community chief Bucky_cm on X. Strangely, this information was teased via color-coding, an odd way to rile up PlayStation fans.
Bucky_cm on Xposted a message, stating they want to update the hearts beside Palworld. Before, it has black (PC), green (Xbox), and white (Mac) colors. However, a blue heart was added in the second part of the post. Blue is often associated with PlayStation, leading to the idea that Palworld is heading to one of the most popular gaming platforms in the world. After adding the blue heart, the community chief said, “Looks good I think!”

There is no date when a Palworld PS5 release will be confirmed, but due to the context of this X post, it’s likely coming soon. Palworld is also on Xbox One, so we may see the game on the PS4 as well. As PlayStation doesn’t often have early access titles in its library, it’s possible to get a PlayStation (or maybe even a Switch) version announced alongside its 1.0 launch date.
Palworld: How To Get Carbon Fiber And What To Do With It
Carbon Fiber has a ton of uses in the mid and late game.
Palworld experienced a massive spike in players when it first launched in an Early Access state. At its peak, there were 2,101,535 players, according toSteam Charts. As of the time of writing, that number has dwindled to a 31,074 24-hour peak. Mind you, any indie developer would kill for those numbers. A PS5 launch for Palworld would likely be successful, similar to whenSea of Thieves saw a massive boostwhen it finally was ported to Sony’s platform.

Additionally, there may be another spike in players from Palworld’s upcomingsummer updateon June 27. It will have new pals, weapons, and a Japanese-inspired island to explore. A PvP arena, which brings back memories of Pokémon Stadium back in the day, is also arriving later this week.
While you wait for Palworld’s summer update, there’s a lot you can do if you own the game on an Xbox console or PC. You should get Pals that cancarry more weightthan others, make a dedicated serverfor your friends, andcraft enough Pal Spheresto get the new monsters in the game.

If you own a PS5, there are a few Palworld alternatives you can try. First, there’s TemTem, an indie MMO-like take on the Pokémon series. There’s also the surprisingly decent Nexomon Extinction.
