Developer Glitch Factory have announced along Ysbryd Games they are bringing theAction-RPGNo Place For Bravery to Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in Q1 2021.

The title follows the story of a retired soldier called Thorn who is on journey to find his beloved daughter, Leaf who is lost in a war torn world. On this quest he will come across foes who pose challenge in both skill and power. Using his wits, his ability to strike swiftly and to survive the harrowing world, he will fight back to find his child.

The title sets to bring fast-paced, tactical and fluid combat, all in a pixel art style inspired by high fantasy. The world is expansive, and ready to challenge you with hand-crafted encounters. Bravery is also inspired by some deep-rooted experiences about absent parents and toxic relationships.

Originally set to be a roguelike, No Place For Bravery was redone as a narrative-driven campaign that is inspired by the difficult pasts that each of the creators have gone through. These experiences have shaped and challenged the developers, adding all the more of a unique experience for players, which was expressed by developer Matheus Queiroz from Glitch Factory:

Multiple members of the team had to deal with toxic relationships and absent parents. Through the trials and tribulations of our lives, including the long road of development, we have persevered, and we hope our shared experiences will be heartfelt by the PC and Nintendo Switch communities in 2021.

No Place For Braverywill release in Q1 2021 for $19.99 for Nintendo Switch and on PC via Steam. It will support both English and Brazilian Portuguese language text at launch, with more language support to follow.
