Capcom has finally unveiled more details on theFender collaborationfor Monster Hunter Wilds. While the collaboration isn’t as content-packed as the upcomingMHWxFF14collab, it’s still something that fans of the series would not want to miss out on. Announced during theTitle Update 2showcase, the Fender collaboration is easily one of the most unique events in any Monster Hunter game to date. And that’s saying a lot considering the series’ history with third-party collaborations. While the Fender collab doesn’t feature any new monsters or subspecies for you to fight, it does come with a uniquegesture. The Gesture can be earned as part of a specialEvent Quest,The Melodic Monarch.

Monster Hunter Wilds x Fender Collaboration Schedule, Explained
The Fender collaboration event is scheduled to go live onAugust 26, 2025, at5 PMPT. Furthermore, as a timed Event Quest, the collaboration and its rewards will be available for a limited time, untilSeptember 23, 2025, at5 PM PT. The Event Quest, The Melodic Monarch, is a5-stardifficulty High Rank quest. As such, to access this quest, you first need to reachHR10+.
Furthermore,The Melodic Monarchcan be accessed from theEvent Queststab by talking to Alma. The quest can also be accessed via the quest Handler at the Grand Hub or using thePop-up Camp. For The Melodic Monarch, you need to be at leastHR 16. Here’s a brief rundown of the quest and its requirements:
Difficulty: 5★Locale: Wounded HollowConditions: HR 16+Quest Objective: Hunt a Rathalos
For this quest, you simply need to hunt aRathalos. For this monster, we recommend using eitherDragonorIceweapons. Furthermore, carryingFlash PodsandShock Trapsis highly recommended. Rathalos is an incredibly agile monster. However, you can limit its movement across the arena using Flash Pods, which immediately stagger the monster, leaving it vulnerable to charged combos. Furthermore, breaking Rathalos’s wings is an easy way to reduce the frequency of its more powerful attacks.

The reward for completing The Melodic Monarch is a set of exclusive gestures, theFender Rathalos Telecaster collab gestures. These gestures can be equipped to your communication tab on theRadial Menufor quick access. Furthermore, using these gestures automatically plays a remixed version of “Proof of a Hero.”
