Milestone Comics was a distinct corporation that concentrated onAfrican-American superheroesin theDakotaversebefore merging with DC Comics later on. The imprint was launched in 1993 by Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, and Derek T. Dingle, who created some of the most unusual and strong comic characters.

Many of these personalities are lesser-known than they should be, but that is about to change. With Milestone making his long-awaited return, it’s a good opportunity to reflect on how much power these characters wield. Many of them would be on par with – if not better than – their DC counterparts. Here are the top 5 most powerful Milestone Comics characters, in no particular order.

5. Brickhouse

Brickhouse is another ‘Bang Baby,’ as they were dubbed, and a member of the Blood Syndicate. With her orange stone skin, Myra Santos resembles the Thing on the outside. That’s because she was standing against a brick wall at the time of the Big Bang and fused with it.

Her skin has the texture and substance of a brick and a motor as a consequence. She is extraordinarily powerful and long-lasting. Unfortunately for Myra, her abilities come at a cost: she suffers from amnesia and frequently forgets things.

static shock

Static is likely the most well-known of the Milestone characters, with his own animated series and several adventures in modern DC comics, but he’s also one of the most powerful.

Virgil Hawkins develops a tremendous electromagnetic field that allows him to float items and himself. As a result, he has the ability to fly or toss magnetic items, making him a formidable offensive and defensive force. But that’s not all he can do; he can also produce electricity and electrical fields, resulting in massive electrokinetic blasts.

3. Starlight

Starlight gained her cosmic abilities not from the Big Bang, but through a laboratory accident with a tachyon telescope. Stella Maxwell became a living pulsar as a consequence. In many respects, she became Milestone’s Adam Warlock or even Captain Marvel.

She produces more than simply an electromagnetic field; she also produces energy over the full electromagnetic spectrum, including X-Ray and infrared wavelengths. Starlight can shoot energy beams, absorb energy, manipulate energy, including the creation of holograms, fly, teleport… she can do everything.

One thing Starlight, one supposes, cannot do is live eternally. That is both Xombi’s blessing and a curse. David Kim was once dead, but owing to cutting-edge nanotechnology, he has been brought back to life. He is now immortal and has the ability to heal from any harm or wound.

This is similar to Bloodshot, but Xombi is special in that Kim created the technology that grants him his power (and durability and self-sustenance). Xombi, who was extremely brilliant, went on to research otherworldly phenomena (as one does).

Superpowers You Never Knew Batman Has

Icon, who is an extraterrestrial exile from another world, is a conscious homage to Superman. But his narrative is much different. His abilities are, for the most part, comparable.

Icon has a plethora of talents, including superhuman strength, stamina, and speed. He is capable of flight. He has enhanced senses. Icon has the ability to project energy beams and generate energy shields. That only scrapes the surface; what distinguishes him is his ability to rejuvenate. His slowed aging has allowed him to live on Earth for nearly a hundred years, making him as immortal as Xombi in all but name.
