While the movie has been filming for months, only a few set photos have emerged so far. However, that seems to be changing, as the first look at Gunn and Corenswet on the set ofSupermanhas been revealed.

Gunn can be seen coordinating workers on the set of the DCU movie before shooting begins. As for the Man of Steel himself, afterset photos of Corenswet suited up as Supermanin Metropolis newspapers emerged, the actor has now been spotted on the set of theupcoming DCU movie. Corenswet is wearing a black cloak that hides his Superman costume, as shown by the blue collar sticking out.

An Action Scene Is On The Way
Corenswet’s Superman will have his work cut out for him when the DCU movie arrives. As revealed by theSupermanset photos, something tragic has happened to Metropolis, with the city clearly under attack by some threat, given all the destruction. Gunn previously revealed that Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor is the main villain of the movie, but as the actor has yet to be spotted on the set ofSuperman, perhaps another foe might be behind the destruction.
What is known is that Corenswet’s Man of Steel should not be facing whatever threat is destroying Metropolis alone. Previous set photos from the movie featured what looks to be Mister Terrific’s ship. In the comics, the ship is shaped like a T, and it is huge. In theSupermanset photos, the T is present, but the spacecraft just looks like a box without the CGI for now. As Mister Terrific is not the only other DCCU hero in the movie, Superman should get help from multiple heroes.
Set photos from the production have also shown the presence of extras portraying firefighters and the army. Whatever threat has brought havoc to Metropolis is doing a lot of damage, with the army getting involved to try and save the city. As more photos and set videos fromSupermanshould come out soon, as filming gets started, new looks at Corenswet’s Man of Steel and what is behind the destruction of Metropolis should emerge.
