What is Crystal Island?
You may have thought that you’d beaten and gotten everything Croc had to offer after the end of theCastle Island, but in actuality, there’s a whole other island with four remixed levels and a final boss waiting for you after defeating Baron Dante.
Crystal Islandis a secret, unlockable and completely optional island for you to unlock and complete, should you have the drive for it. Featuringharder,remixed versions of past levelsfrom each Island up to this point, all culminating in a secret boss againstCrystal Baron Dante. A Secret World at the end of a Platformer is quintessential to the genre. Croc Legend of the Gobbos is no exception.
How to Unlock Crystal Island
Throughout your time playing through Croc Legend of the Gobbos you’ll have come across Gobbos. Little furry beings are sometimes out in the open, trapped in boxes or even inside of cages.Collecting all six in a level is necessary for gaining access to the Crystal Island.
With six levels total per Island, collecting all six Gobbos in the first three levels of an Island will grant you access to the first Secret Level on an Island, while collecting all six Gobbos in each of the last three levels on an Island will grant you access to the second Secret Level on an Island.
Within these Secret Levels will be Jigsaw Pieces.These will be what allow you to unlock Crystal Island.There are eight in total, two per island.
With that, you’re able to complete all Secret Levels and collect all the Jigsaw Pieces to unlock and complete the final world, Crystal Island.
