A new Final Fantasy XIV expansion is upon us, as Dawntrail has officially launched into early access for all pre-order players. With a new expansion comes a new set of Allagan Tomestones to collect, meaning the previous set of Tomestones are now out of commission. If you have Allagan Tomestones of Causality and Comedy leftover, here’s how to exchange those discontinued Tomestones in FFXIV: Dawntrail.

How to Trade Allagan Tomestones of Causality and Comedy for Poetics in FFXIV: Dawntrail

To exchange your discontinued Tomestones of Causality and Comedy into Poetics, you’ll need to speak withAuriana in Mor Dhona (X: 22.7, Y:6.7). After speaking with her, select theExchange Previous Tomestonesoption, and you’ll then be able to choose between exchanging Causality and Comedy Tomestones for Poetics at a 2:1 ratio.

For example, if you trade 1,000 Tomestones of Causality, you will receive 500 Tomestones of Poetics. It’s worth noting that you can only carry a maximum of 2,000 total Tomestones of Poetics at any time, so make sure you have room to carry more if you plan on using the exchange service.
