BitLifelets you live around the world, but there are times when you might find that you need to pick a specific location. This is especially true if you want to complete the various challenges that BitLife has, both from the legacy collection and from the weekly challenges that are always changing.
If you aren’t familiar with the cities in each state of the United States, then it can be confusing to pick the proper location to fulfill tasks that require you to start in a specific state.
The difficult part of picking cities in order to be born in a certain state is thatthe list doesn’t tell you which cities are in which states. As a result, you end up facing a test of geography.
How to Be Born in Texas
While there’s a chance you’ll be born in Texas if you start a random life, you want to start a custom life instead. That way, you can choose exactly where you want to be born, which makes it much easier to complete challenge tasks that are specific to locations. When you’re in the options for your custom life, pick the United States for your country, and then pick a specific city:

In general, your experience in BitLife won’t change much across different states beyond the income you make from various jobs or how much purchases like houses and cars cost. As a result, you tend to only pick a specific state to be born in asa way to fulfill a challenge task, and quite a few challenges require you to be born in Texas, such as the Nerd Challenge, Guilty Grandpa Challenge, and Thrill Seeker Challenge.
You can always double-check that you picked the right city by looking at the challenge in-game and making sure that the requirement to be born in Texas—or any other state—has been properly marked as completed. If you end up picking the wrong city and the task isn’t marked as being complete, then you’ll have to go back and start over by creating another custom life and trying again if you want to finish a specific challenge in BitLife.
