Helldivers 2has officially confirmed its release on Xbox Series X|S for this August. The PlayStation title is making the jump to Microsoft’s console, ending its exclusivity.
Helldivers 2 Comes to Xbox Consoles
After making waves on PS5 and PC, Arrowhead’s title is headed to a new planetary sector. In a surprise move, Helldivers 2 has announced its release on Xbox Series X|S.
Amid Microsoft’s wave of layoffs, this comes as welcome news for Xbox players.Helldivers 2will be available on Xbox Series X|S starting August 26 at a price of $39.99.
No details have been shared regarding its availability on Xbox Game Pass. Like on PlayStation and PC, Helldivers 2 will be a paid title.

“We know players have been asking for it, and we’re very happy to bring more Helldivers to our game. We’ve got much more in store for the coming months and years — and the more players we have, the more stories we can tell! The fight for Super Earth has only just begun,” said game director Mikael Eriksson.

Although Arrowhead, the developers of this third-person multiplayer game, are not part of PlayStation Studios, the game is still a PlayStation-owned IP. This makesHelldivers 2the second title, afterMLB The Show, to arrive in the Xbox ecosystem.
