Cygames announces Granblue Fantasy: Relink has now been delayed to 2023.

Cygames has announced upcomingAction-RPGGranblue Fantasy: Relink has now been delayed from its2022 release windowto 2023. Previously it was planned for the title to be released sometime this year for PC, Playstation 5, and Playstation 4, but now has been pushed back.

A message was shared by producer Yuito Kimura, stating while the team “has been hard at work” the game simply isn’t ready for the targeted release window. This is the second time the developer has needed to push the release date. The reason for this being the pandemic which has set the studio back in terms of progress for the development of the game. As for when we’ll be hearing more about Relink, the update will not be coming this June but instead more towards December 2022.

While sad to hear we’ll be waiting a bit longer for the game to release, the official Twitter account did share a new video which shows the main characters upon an airship, blasting a powerful beam into the sky. This is quickly retaliated by what appears to be a summoned Bahamut dragon blasting a purple beam of light and clearing a giant hole in the clouds.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink will now release in 2023 for PC, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5.
