Developer Counterplay Games has announced the Action-RPG Godfall will be coming to new platforms Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Steam on April 7th.
Godfall to Release on Xbox and Steam on April 7th
Godfall will be coming to Xbox and Steam on April 7th under the new Ultimate Edition. TheAction-RPGwill join platforms Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One as well as Steam on PC. Previously the title was only available on Playstation 5, Playstation 5 and via Epic for PC.
Godfall was originally released in 2020, introducing the co-op slasher-looter and since then has received updates including theLightbringerEndgame Mode and expansionFire & Darkness. It was speculated thatGodfall could be coming to Xboxsince its original six-month exclusivity on the Playstation console ended in May last year.
Recently it was announced Godfall would be receiving quite a hefty free update calledExaltedwhich will also released on April 7th. Not only bringing gameplay improvements to Valorplates, but combat features such as the Knockdown 2.0 feature and a new game mode called Spirit Realms.
Godfall Ultimate Edition will feature the previously exclusiveAscended Edition, DLC as well as pre-order bonuses. Xbox Series X|S will receive exclusive enhancements such as Variable Refresh Rate and Dolby Vision for HDR-capable displays. The full price will be $39.99 USD on Xbox and $29.99 for a limited-time-only launch discount.
In case you missed it, Godfall provides a hard-hitting, fast-paced melee combat orientated co-op experience. With the use of Valorplates, players can choose a playstyle that matches their preferred approach. The title launched originally for around 60 USD, but now half its price with a number of updates might be able to entice those who have yet to give it a go.
