The massively popular RPGGenshin Impactis getting a new 5.8 update, which includes a new holiday resort to explore, the return of Venti in the storyline, and a new outfit for the fire user Bennett. We’re also introduced to the first Nod-Krai character Ineffa, who will begin to open up a new storyline.

In the Version 5.8 update, which launches on July 30, players will be able to check out Easybreeze Holiday Resort. It’s a new island that will appear on the west coast of Natlan. Bennett, Chasca andMualaniwill re-appear alongsideVenti, who is here to “visit an old friend” in a quest called Sunspray Summer Resort, according to MiHoYo. We’ll also meet a new character called Asha, the resort’s mascot. Asha will give us the power to glide across water and hover mid-air through areas of the resort. The Asha will also help solve puzzles for you with their spray painting skills. The resort isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, however, as there’s a monster named Bukunawa awaiting you down below.
This summer party will provide a bunch of seasonal events that will offer rewards. You’ll be spray painting with the Asha, aiming at opponents in the Strikers Through the Storm event, and guding Kau Kau and Akamai in the Travels Are Fuller With Friends quest. If you finish enough mini-games and earn Sunspray Spirit, you’ll be able to gain Bennett’s new outfit called “Adventures in Blazing Hue” and the event-exclusive four-star Claymore Flame-Forged Insight.
A New Genshin Impact Character
Genshin Impact fans may be excited to meet the next companion,Ineffa, in the 5.8 update. She’s going to be the first Nod-Krai character we’ll get to know. She’s an all-purpose household robot who finds herself in theNatlanregion. The Traveler and his friends will be trying to figure out the secrets of her origins. MiHoYo teases that her origins are tied to the ancient dragon civilization. We’ll likely find out more when the update launches on July 30.

Ineffa is going to be a five-star electro polearm character who uses the new Lunar-Charged reaction. When she is on the team, she’ll create a Thundercloud that will cause damage to the enemies around her and the Traveller’s allies. This Thundercloud may even trigger critical hits. Ineffa also utilizes a shield and uses the Multipurpose Smart Assistance Unit Birgitta to attack foes with area of effect electro attacks.
