However, this wouldn’t be the only new platform, as Naoki Yoshida also said a few weeks ago that he would love to launch it on the successor toNintendo’s Switch.

This information comes from the forums, where it is claimed that the mobile port is the result of a strategic alliance between the two companies that was formed in 2018. The studio responsible for theFinal Fantasysaga recently brought theMMORPGto Microsoft’s consoles, but in the linked forum, they believe the companies are now working on this version.
It is not clear if the mobile game will be exclusive to a specific mobile manufacturer or if it will be available on all devices, but these and other details will have to wait a bit longer.

“We are in constant communication with Tencent, and there are some projects underway, but I will refrain from commenting on any details for now, including any releases in the next three years,” said Yosuke Matsuda in 2021.
There is no announced project between them, but in early 2024, it was stated that Tencent canceled an unannouncedNieRsmartphone game.
The high development costs, royalties, and platform fees led the project to its demise; there are no official details to confirm this yet. Despite this, the director and producer ofFinal Fantasy XIVissued “sincere apologies” for the issues identified during the Early Access ofDawntrail.
