How To Get Salt
As a raw material, Salt can only be obtained from nature, and there are two major ways to collect it. The best way is tofind a salt mineand use yourpickaxeto collect as much salt as you need. TheEgerton Salt Mineis inside the Shroud zone, but there is no need to worry as you will find a mine before you reach the enemies.
If you follow the arrow markers on the image above, before you even drop down deep inside the Shroud zone of Egerton, there is a salt mine to dig in. However, if you extract all the salt from this small part, you will need to get down and look for other mines.

Other than mines, you can also obtain salt bykilling a certain enemy typein the game. Before you reach the Egerton Salt Mine, there is a small village namedWoodgard. If you enter themain buildingof this village, you will facea skeleton enemywith green poison coming out of its head. Killing this creature type in Enshrouded will drop salt as loot.
If you bring Farmer to your base, you can use salt to cook some delicious soup. Also, this is the main ingredient for drying Fur and using it to craft new items.
