From Skullcrushers to the Super Shotgun, what firearms are the best in the Slayers arsenal?
There are a total of 9 secrets to find in the Ancestral Forge level of the game, as well as two Codexes and some other collectibles. Some are more well hidden than others, and we know where to find all of them.
Gold Chest #1
The firstgold chestcan be found by dropping from the wooden platform in the location shown above, then following the trail of gold bars.
Wraithstone
TheWraithstoneis locked, and requires you to destroy three glowing wolf statues by throwing your shield at them. They are located in different areas of the map.
Wolf Statue #1
The first Wolf Statue can be found right next to the Wraithstone, in a small toxic pond to the right of the large statues.
Wolf Statue #2
The second wolf statue can be found in the cave passage containing Gold Chest #2.
Wolf Statue #3
The third wolf statue requires you to defeat an encounter of enemies and a mini-boss. Once defeated, the red wall blocking the statue will lower.
Codex (Ancestral Forge)
At the location on the map above, look down from the cliff to see a small wooden platform with the Ancestral Forge Codex sitting with some gold bars.
Secret Key
Thesecret keycan be found in one of the main encounter rooms, behind a wall that can be broken with a Shield Charge. Follow the path of gold bars to find it, allowing you to unlock any doors with purple locks when you approach them.
Life Sigil #1
On the path to the far left of the Sentinel Shrine, look up to find the greenShield Jumppoint, and use it to reach the secret area above. Jump and climb across the gaps until you reach the lever, then pull it to drop the Life Sigil onto the pathway below.
Gold Chest #2
Head to the location on the map above, and use the secret key to unlock the path to theGold Chest.
Ruby #2 + Vagary Toy
Once you have retrieved the secret key, head to the location on the map above (near the enemy encounter). Look across the gap and sprint jump to the tower on the other side, then unlock the door by approaching it.
Pass through the tower, then jump onto the climbing wall and follow the path. Turn right and jump onto the wooden platform with enemies on it via the next climbing wall, defeat them, and then go up the ramp and jump across to theRubyandCollectible, which sit next to each other on the edge.
Once you’ve entered the forge, turn left at the location on the map above.Shield Chargethrough the brick wall, then look to the side to find the overheated lock and destroy it. This will unlock the path to the final Ruby.
Gold Chest #3
At the start of theplatformingsection, hop down on to the lower platform at the location above, then look up and use the Shield Switch to raise the platform. Once it reaches the top, jump across to the Gold Chest.
Codex #2 + Weapon Skin
Once you have reached the end of the platforming section, turn around and lookbackat the floating platforms. Above them, there’s an overheated lock that can be destroyed, allowing you to jump across and reach the next platform.
Use the green Shield Jump points to reach the Super Shotgun “Nightmare” weapon skin, then sprint jump across to the King Novik Codex on the nearby ledge.
