It’s finally here: the first full trailer forDemon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Infinity Castlehas been released.Demon Slayeris ramping up for its final chapters with the upcoming “Infinity Castle Arc” trilogy, which will bring the immensely popular anime franchise to an end. Based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotoge, the series follows Tanjiro Kamado, who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to find a cure for his sister, Nezuko, who has been turned into a Demon. After four seasons and a movie,Infinity Castleis the beginning of the end forDemon Slayer.
The first trailer for theInfinity Castlemovie was just released online, and it looks incredible. The long-awaited trailer reveals the first look at the epic battle between Tanjiro, the Hashiras, and the Upper Moon demons.Demon Slayeris renowned for its phenomenal animation,especially for its fight scenes, andInfinity Castlelooks like it will blow audiences away when it arrives in theaters in a few short months. As well as Tanjiro seeking out Muze, the trailer also teases a major showdown for Zenitsu, one of the most divisive characters in the franchise.

TheInfinity Castlearc movie is directed by Haruo Sotozaki, with Ufotable returning to lend their incredible animation to the film trilogy. TheDemon Slayerseries is renowned for its phenomenal action animation. Fans are hoping that the new trilogy will blow everything that came before out of the water, especially as it is being presented on the big screen. Along with a lengthy recap of the story so far, the official synopsis forInfinity Castlereads:
“With the head of the Demon Corps in danger, Tanjiro and the Hashira rush to the headquarters but are plunged into a deep descent to a mysterious space by the hands of Muzan Kibutsuji. The destination of where Tanjiro and Demon Slayer Corps have fallen is the demons’ stronghold – the Infinity Castle. And so, the battleground is set as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons ignites.”
‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ Releases in Theaters This September
Japanese fans will be the first to experience theInfinity Castlemovie on the big screen. The film debuts in Japan on July 18. Unless you want to book a flight to Japan to see the film early (which doesn’t seem like the worst idea in the world), US fans will have to wait a little while before getting to see the movie themselves.Infinity Castlereleases in the US, Canada, and the UK on September 12. As well as standard screenings, the film will also be presented in IMAX and other premium large formats during its theatrical run and will be available in subbed and dubbed versions.
Demon Slayeralready has a record-breaking history at the box office.TheMugen Trainmovie, released in 2020,is the highest-grossing anime film of all time, raking in just over $500 million. Each of the upcoming movies in the newDemon Slayertrilogy is expected to shatter that record. TheMugen Trainmovie was recently re-released in theaters in 4K to celebrate the build-up toInfinity Castle’s release. The 2020 movie still pulled in solid numbers in theaters, even five years after its initial release. So, despite some divisive last seasons, there is still a lot of desire for the newDemon Slayerfilms.
